      INVESTIGACION

  1. Nicole Morales Camilo, Chemist graduate of Universidad de Santiago de Chile, currently Biological Sciences PhD student of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

  2. After developing my undergraduate thesis "Evaluation of Chalcones and aurones as potential inhibitors of monoamine oxidase B" (2012) I deepened in biochemistry and
  3. organic synthesis working on the project "Design and synthesis of small molecules with potential osteogenesis-activity in mesenchymal stem cells. A chemical
  4. approach to bone regenerative medicine" and "New isoflavanone and isoflavans derivatives as lipoxygenase inhibitors: computational studies, synthesis and
  5. biological assay " as a research assistant.

  6. Finally, because of my interest in interdisciplinary research, I decided to join Nelson Barrera's lab for my speciation and development of lines of research
  7. in the field of structural biology.
