INVESTIGACION
- Nicole Morales Camilo, Chemist graduate of Universidad de Santiago de Chile, currently Biological Sciences PhD student of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
- After developing my undergraduate thesis "Evaluation of Chalcones and aurones as potential inhibitors of monoamine oxidase B" (2012) I deepened in biochemistry and
- organic synthesis working on the project "Design and synthesis of small molecules with potential osteogenesis-activity in mesenchymal stem cells. A chemical
- approach to bone regenerative medicine" and "New isoflavanone and isoflavans derivatives as lipoxygenase inhibitors: computational studies, synthesis and
- biological assay " as a research assistant.
- Finally, because of my interest in interdisciplinary research, I decided to join Nelson Barrera's lab for my speciation and development of lines of research
- in the field of structural biology.
