INVESTIGACION
- I started as an undergraduate student doing my first experiments in the vas deferens pharmacology in 2008. Then in 2010 I read about the P2X4R
- crystal structure and I decided to move to structural pharmacology using a mix of electrophysiology and molecular modelling. In 2012 I finish
- my undergraduate thesis and worked one year as a research assistant.
- Then I heard about the Atomic Force microscopy (AFM) as a new technology available in the university brought by Dr Barrera. I was interested
- to learn that, so I decided to postpone my idea of the PhD and work one more year as a research assistant full time in the AFM. Then in 2014 I
- started my PhD with some experience, working in as much parallel projects as I could to master the technique. Thanks to that in 2015 my thesis
- project was accepted and now I am working on the mechanical properties and force spectroscopy between the neutrophiland endothelial cells
- during inflammatory conditions.
